An expert in grant accounting and financial management, financial reporting, bond financing, and general finance and accounting issues related to nonprofit organizations makes Pete eminently qualified to serve as The Village’s controller.
Pete directs the activities of and is responsible for all financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, and grant financial management for The Village.
“My goal at The Village is to ensure that we use our financial resources wisely so that as much as possible is available for our clients,” he says.
Previously, Pete was director of finance and assistant administrator at Evergreen Health Care Center, senior accountant at SS&C Technologies, Inc., and worked for 7 years at a public accounting firm. He also served on the advisory board for the Hartt School Community Division.
He earned a bachelor of science in accounting from the University of Hartford.

What is something unexpected that most people don’t know about you?
I have traveled to 14 foreign countries, 24 States and lived in the Netherlands for a summer, however I was born and always had my permanent home in Connecticut.
