The Village’s Intensive Community Program (ICP) provides integrated multi-level treatment for adolescents with complex psychiatric and behavioral needs who meet the criteria for a residential level of care. With the goal of supporting youths’ successful functioning in the community, ICP provides a continuum of care that effectively builds a bridge between congregate care facilities and family settings or independent living.
Developed in collaboration with the Department of Children and Families (DCF), the program provides multiple interventions as part of a continuous strategy, and services are blended so that there are step-up and step-down options at each stage. Based on a trauma-informed, relational approach, intensive clinical intervention and therapeutic services are provided by the same core clinical team over the entire course of treatment to help the youth remain in the community and sustain their treatment gains over time.
ICP is open to children ages 12-17 through referral from DCF.
