Our guest Jennifer Steadman, Ph.D., Executive Director of Aurora Women and Girls Foundation, Inc. joined host Yvette Young to discuss Aurora’s newly released called Essential Equity: Women, Covid-19 and Rebuilding Connecticut, indicates that the pandemic has only made challenges more acute. The report “documents the disproportionate impact of Covid-19 on women and girls, and particularly on women and girls of color, across areas of health, economic security, child care, housing, mental health, safety and hunger.”
