Lunch Break With The Village

Prevailing Through Intimate Partner Violence

October 27, 2022

Lunch Break With The Village focused on navigating intimate partner violence (IPV) in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month. This episode examined some of the challenges victims of IPV face when navigating difficult and traumatic situations, share tips on supporting a friend or loved one and share a survivor’s perspective on resiliency and how she thinks of herself not only as a “survivor” but as a “thriver.”

Our guests were Nashaly Alamo, a Village clinician for the Child First program, and Davine Manson, a Village client who connected to The Village for support after leaving a traumatic relationship.
