What We Do

Integrated Pediatric Clinics

At the Integrated Pediatric Clinics, doctors and other medical staff from Connecticut Children’s Medical Center work together with clinicians and care coordinators from The Village for Families & Children.

During a child’s visit, we a look at symptoms or situations that can put their health at risk or point to other health issues – things like how they’re doing in school, how they’re eating, how active they are, how they’re getting along with parents or friends, or if they are affected by neighborhood violence.

We go beyond just medical care. If your child is feeling anxious or is having a hard time paying attention, we can help with that. If finding transportation to your child’s appointments is a challenge, we can help with that. If you’re having trouble getting your child academic support or finding family activities in the community, our care coordinators can connect you to resources.

You know your child better than anyone, so we’ll work together with you to support the whole health of your child – physical, social and emotional.
