Local Children Need Help During Snowiest February in Years

Village #FeelTheLove campaign to provide essential winter gear

As winter’s chill sets in, The Village for Families & Children is urgently seeking community support to ensure local children stay warm. Online donations will help 500 kids #FeelTheLove with the crucial winter gear they need.

In celebration of Valentine’s Day, The Village’s #FeelTheLove campaign aims to provide 500 children with new winter coats by the end of February. The initiative is vital to keep children warm and safe during the harsh New England winter.

“Every child deserves a warm winter coat that fits them and keeps them warm. Through this effort, we’re not only aiming to provide essential gear but also alleviate families’ financial stress and support their mental health and overall wellbeing,” said Village President & CEO Hector Glynn. “Any contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference.”

The Village serves thousands of children each year, many of whom depend on these critical items to stay warm. Online donations will supply new coats, hats, scarves and mittens while giving families in need one less thing to worry about. To help, visit thevillage.org and make an online donation.
