Retired General Manager Customer Engineering Team, Microsoft

Chris is a retired engineer and technology executive with nearly 40 years of experience in software development and leading engineering organizations of all sizes. The majority of his career was spent at Microsoft, where he served in various roles—including engineer, software developer, consultant, and executive—ultimately overseeing the company’s global customer engineering organization. Prior to Microsoft, Chris founded and led several startup companies in both the U.S. and Asia.

Chris is highly skilled in designing and developing complex software systems. He has a strong passion for leading teams—large and small—through periods of rapid growth and organizational transformation. As a technology executive, he has contributed across all areas of the business landscape.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Computer Science, and remains committed to learning new technologies. In his spare time, Chris is an avid sailor and enjoys maintaining Koi ponds that he designed and built himself.
