The Village for Families & Children held its annual Trunk or Treat event in Hartford on Thursday night.

In addition to handing out candy, the event’s organizers were also able to give out new coats, hats and gloves for children—all of which were donated by community members and local businesses.

Families were also able to take advantage of free dental supplies and health resources. More information about the Village for Families and Children and the work they do to support families in need in the Hartford area can be found here.
