Linda T. Wihbey, Esq. is General In-House Counsel to Columbia Dental, where she serves as trial counsel in state and federal courts and before administrative and regulatory commissions and agencies; performs contract lifecycle management, including contract negotiation and drafting for vendor and professional services; advises and consults on employee and human resources matters; drafts and implements policies for risk management and compliance; and oversees outside counsel.

Previously, she served as General Counsel and first in-house counsel to a national SaaS technology company, where she negotiated and drafted license agreements and commercial transactions, implemented case and project management systems, advised on HR policies and employee issues, and managed privacy, terms of use, and HIPAA privacy and security compliance.

Linda also held roles including Case Smart Counsel at Littler Mendelson, Associate City Attorney (Of Counsel) for the City of Bridgeport, and Corporation Counsel (Of Counsel) for the City of Waterbury. In these positions, she managed departments of attorneys and staff, led complex litigation and administrative matters, oversaw outside counsel spending, implemented legal case management systems, and drove risk and cost reductions across a portfolio exceeding 1,400 matters.

Earlier in her career, she served as a Family Support Magistrate for the Connecticut Judicial Branch, authoring more than 200 written decisions and presiding over contested paternity and support proceedings. She also practiced at private law firms handling civil litigation, administrative and regulatory matters, and complex commercial and healthcare-related engagements.
