What quote best captures your personal philosophy?
“Be the change you wish to see in the world.” -Mahatma Gandhi
What’s your personal mission at The Village – why are you here and what do you hope to accomplish?
My mission at The Village is to strengthen behavioral health services that meet people where they are, honor their lived experiences and create real pathways to healing. I am here to build programs that are clinically excellent, culturally responsive and grounded in dignity and respect. I hope to create an environment where staff feel supported, valued and empowered to do their best work because when teams thrive, clients thrive. My goal is to expand access to high quality care, deepen our partnerships with state and community agencies and ensure that every program under my leadership delivers measurable, meaningful outcomes. Ultimately, I am here to help The Village be a place where change is possible, hope is restored, and individuals and families feel seen, supported, and safe.
What would you most want the clients of The Village to know about you?
I believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected and heard, no matter what they’re carrying or where they are in their journey. My role is to make sure our programs are places where people feel supported and understood and are treated with dignity. I want clients to know that I care deeply about the quality of the services they receive, and I work every day to make sure our teams have the tools, training and support they need to show up fully for them. I am committed to creating an environment where healing is possible, where barriers are reduced and where every person knows that they matter. Most of all, I want clients to know that they are not alone. The Village is here to walk alongside them, and I am here to make sure that the care they receive is compassionate, culturally responsive and grounded in hope.
What is something unexpected that most people don’t know about you?
I sing in an all-female choir. Music has always been a grounding and joyful part of my life, and being part of a group of women who come together to create something beautiful reminds me of the power in connection, collaboration and shared voice. These are the values I carry every day.
