Supporting Pinwheels for Prevention at the Second Chance Shops

April 9, 2024

On this episode of Lunch Break With The Village we learned about our volunteer-run Second Chance Shops in Glastonbury, Simsbury, Suffield and West Hartford and how they’re helping support child abuse prevention efforts at The Village this April.

You’ll learn:

  • How these thrift boutiques support families served by The Village by selling new and gently used clothing, accessories and housewares
  • How you can support the Shops’ “Pinwheels for Prevention” campaign this April
  • How you can volunteer for a few hours each month and make an impact

Our guests were be Jill Scully, West Hartford Second Chance Shop Chair and Jennifer Herbek, Simsbury Second Chance Shop Co-Chair.

Pinwheels for Prevention is a national effort to shed light on the importance of protecting children and reflect the bright future every child deserves.
