Nancy and Jeffrey Hoffman Named 2023 Village Champions for Children

The Village has named Nancy and Jeffrey Hoffman as its 2023 Champions for Children in honor of their longstanding commitment to aiding the wellbeing of families in Greater Hartford and helping children at The Village as they recover from trauma and other challenges.

Each year The Village honors individuals who are leaders in the community and who are making a significant difference in the lives of vulnerable children. The Hoffmans are longtime supporters of The Village, most recently providing funding for a new gymnasium for children receiving treatment at The Village where they play, laugh and experience joy as they heal from trauma.

The Hoffmans were honored for their profound generosity and commitment to supporting Greater Hartford children in need at The Village’s Annual Champions for Children Celebration on Wednesday, May 17.

The event also featured inspiring stories from Jayden, a Village client and Jenna Nikirk, a Village foster parent; remarks from former UConn women’s basketball player and WNBA star Morgan Tuck about why she’s on The Village’s team; and special recognition of new Village ambassadors and the Village auxiliaries, who have raised $7 million to support The Village over 60 years.
