For more than twenty years, thousands of supporters have attended The Village for Families & Children’s annual Girl Within event, raising hundreds of thousands of dollars to help at-risk girls and young women in the Greater Hartford area. This year—amid a surging mental health crisis and inflation—girls, women and their families need support, and they’re turning to The Village for help.
Purpose of this toolkit:
To provide an easy way to invite friends, family and colleagues to join together for Girl Within, where they’ll hear inspiring stories and help ensure that girls and young women who are struggling get the support they need.
How to use this toolkit:
- Share the link to the Girl Within event webpage (LINK: thevillage.org/GW)
- Tag the Facebook event in our post or and share the link: (link coming soon!)
- Copy and paste the suggested social media posts, or develop your own posts to share out content
- Add the #GW24 hashtag to your social media posts
- Include the suggested graphics in your company’s internal communications channels
