Welcome
Welcome to the 20th annual Girl Within event! This year’s event is certainly different from previous years but the mission is the same. We come together to support young women and girls who experienced abuse and neglect. Your participation will help them heal, gain confidence, and realize their potential.
In the next hour you will hear stories of transformation and courage: the mother who fought for sobriety and won, the staff member who went to incredible lengths to help children living at The Village, and a former foster child who is now paying it forward. You’ll also meet our Woman of the Year – who is breaking barriers and inspiring others to follow suit.
To all of you, we are grateful that you’ve chosen to join us today. We hope that you and your family stay safe and find peace this holiday season in the act of giving.
