Our financial coaching services, offered through our Financial Opportunity Center® and in partnership with United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut, are available to help you effectively manage your finances and achieve your financial goals. Services include:
  • One-on-one coaching
  • Financial education classes (budgeting, improving credit scores and more)
  • Financial goal planning

The Village Financial Opportunity Center® is funded by and offered in partnership with Arabella Foundation, CDBG, Farmington Bank Community Foundation, Gawlicki Foundation, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), Key Bank, KPMG, Liberty Bank, LISC, TD Bank, United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and Webster Bank.

More than 14,000 tax filers received free tax preparation and filing services from hundreds of IRS-certified volunteer tax preparers. This effort resulted in $26.8 million in refunds and credits returned to Connecticut communities thanks to the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA).
