Neftali came to The Village’s Fatherhood Engagement Services program through a Department of Children and Families referral, searching for guidance and support. What he found was a community where he felt heard, understood and connected with other fathers facing similar challenges. Through the program, Neftali gained new tools for parenting, resolved personal struggles and found relief from burdens he had carried for years. “I just don’t carry that weight inside me anymore,” he said. Today, he credits the Fatherhood Program with helping him grow as a father and recognizes its lasting impact on families across the community.
“They [The Village] definitely do have an impact and they’re changing lives.”
