Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA), offered through our Financial Opportunity Center® and in partnership with United Way of Central and Northeastern Connecticut and 211 Connecticut, helps you access asset-building opportunities, financial education and additional resources.

You can get your taxes done for free through the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program. To qualify, adults can earn up to $68,000 per year and live in Greater Hartford, Enfield, Manchester, Vernon and Windham.
