Brian recently retired from Travelers as Senior Vice President and Chief Auditor after 20 years with the company. He managed the department through the spin-off from Citigroup and merger with The St. Paul Companies. He was a member of the Travelers Executive Leadership team, supporting the activities of the Travelers Foundation and other initiatives supported by the Foundation.

Brian currently is on the Board of Directors of Chimera Investment in New York City (NYSE: CIM).

Prior to joining Travelers, Brian was an audit partner at Arthur Andersen LLP, serving insurance clients such as Hartford Financial Services Group, Aetna Inc. and United Health Group during his 16 years with that firm.

Brian served in the U.S. Navy for four years, and graduated from the University of Connecticut with a BS in Accounting. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Connecticut Society of CPAs.

Brian resides in Cromwell, CT and Naples, FL with his wife, Anne. Their two children graduated from Colby College and are both married and actively volunteering in their communities.
