The Village provides a full range of services for vulnerable children, adults and families in the Greater Hartford region, including behavioral health treatment, foster care and adoption, and financial counseling and classes.  The Auxiliary supports these activities and helps to accomplish The Village’s mission by selling new and gently used clothes, accessories, antiques and collectibles, toys, and household items in its Second Chance Shops. The three auxiliaries, Glastonbury, Simsbury and Suffield, have contributed a total of more than $4.5 million to The Village in the past two decades.

“I am constantly amazed and gratified by the dedication of more than 400 volunteers in our Glastonbury, Simsbury and Suffield Auxiliaries,” said Galo Rodriguez, The Village president & CEO. “Their contributions − of time, treasure and talent − make real change possible for the children and families served by The Village.”
